According to PAGASA(Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical & Astronomical Services Administration), Luzon and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the South to Southwest will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the Southeast to South over Central Luzon and the coastal waters along these area will be moderate to rough . Light to moderate winds blowing from the Southeast to South will prevail over the rest of Luzon and coming from the Southeast over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.
Rainy season also reminds every students that its back to school time, or is it? Its always the first two months(June, July) of school days are reserved for incoming thunderstorms, therefore classes of grade school and high school will be suspended depending on what signal level the storm is.
College students and employees are waterproof - storms have always been a problem to us, we have to go to school or go to work even if the storm is already unbearable, but what the hell? college students and employees are supposed to be waterproof right?
Real guys bring umbrella - Most of the guys don't like holding umbrella with them, its because it can actually make you look vain, and the worst part is, it can make you look gay! But if you think of it this way, not all ladies bring umbrella with them, usually those hot looking girls who only brought a pouch bag with them are the ones who's always looking for someone who have an umbrella to share with. Now that's one chance of walking with a hot chick under one umbrella! But always remember to bring a small one, I don't have to explain why.
Very useful slippers - whenever there's storm, there's flood, and you don't want to be stuck on such places because of it don't you? you will always come to your senses that you have to cross the flooded roads to go where you have to. But there seems to be a problem, you don't want to get your shoes all wet and dirty. There comes our bestfriend slippers to help us cross the flood without getting our ever precious shoes. Just remember to wash your feet after soaking it on flood water, you might get some disease from that dirty water.
Jacket Fashion - Its the time again when people wears jackets everywhere. rainy season is one of the times we can show off our jackets and look so fashionable with it, at least. So who want's to wear a raincoat nowadays? back on my grade school days, I love wearing them, maybe its because I'm such a playful child and I love to play in the rain, and maybe its because I didn't grow up to be someone who is always fetched by her mom with an umbrella after class. I love mom! I remember she carried me with my bag when she fetched me after class because of flood.
Nowadays, even grade school students don't wear raincoats anymore, they prefer jackets, they already know how to look fashionably cool in front of their classmates. The only people I saw still wearing raincoats are Traffic Enforcers, Police, Fireman, Street Sweepers, and Security Guards(like my dad, but he also prefer jacket cause he's fashionably cool).
Dengue Alert - rainy season also bring a very dangerous disease caused by mosquito bites, so always check places on your house that might have a stagnant water where these mosquito's breed.
To sum it up, its nice to finally clench the thirst of Manila's lands and trees, but now I will have to deal with the mud on my way in and out of the house.
~cool ... I really enjoy the rainy season though it's really difficult to go to work. ^___^
